Het vooruitzicht van het komende nieuwe jaar maken veel emoties bij me los. 
Ik word bij voorbaat wat nerveus, geestdriftig, geïnspireerd, blij, onrustig, daadkrachtig, kriebelig, volvertrouwen, vastberaden, gelukkig, als ik denk aan alle nieuwe ontwikkelingen en mogelijkheden die zich gaan aandienen in en om atelier FILT. 
Een verwachtingsvolle spanning maakt zich van mij meester.

Ik weet het…ik ben zelf de veroorzaker van de meeste ontwikkelingen. Deze spanning heb ik opgezocht, vind ik leuk en boeiend. Maar, ik merk nu al: het breidt zich uit als een olievlek…Oeps…

Ik heb me steeds voorgenomen mijn viltwerk en alles wat ermee samen hangt leuk en vooral ook ontspannen te houden. Dat is een van de waardevolle aspecten van mijn mooie atelier en dat blijft ook zo. Voor mijzelf én voor alle cursisten van atelier FILT!

2013 is het jaar waarin atelier FILT Viltwerk 5 jaar bestaat.
2013 is het jaar waarin ik mijn opleiding ‘Fit-in-Filz’ afrond.
2013 is het jaar waarin onze werkstal af gebouwd zal worden.
2013 is het jaar waarin ik zal meedoen aan diverse exposities buiten het atelier.
2013 is het jaar waarin een internationaal viltsymposium gehouden zal worden bij atelier FILT.
2013 is het jaar waarin mijn eigen cursussen en workshops een belangrijke pijler blijven van atelier FILT.

Kortom: er staat veel te gebeuren in en rond atelier FILT komend jaar!

Mijn wens voor 2013 is om veel nieuwe en oude viltvrienden te mogen ontmoeten in en om atelier FILT. Ik hoop je te zien!

2013 will be the year of the 5-year anniversary of studio FILT.
2013 will be the year in which I finish my education at Filzschule Oberrot.
2013 will be the year in which our stable-rebuilding will be finished.
2013 will be the year of several exhibitions outside the save doors of my studio...
2013 will be the year of an International felt symposium at FILT's.
2013 will be the year in which my own courses and workshops will remain the main activity at FILT's.

Lots of excitings things are going to happen at FILT's the coming year!

My wish for 2013 is to meet a lot of new and old felt friends in and around studio FILT. I'm looking forward to meet you!   

Fire inside???

Will it be enough? The wood-boys brought an enourmous amount of wood, 3 m3. It won't be enough, I know. Our huge fire place swallows lots of these small pieces. It's okay. 
I like it very much to sit by the fire and to look into the flames. It makes my head empty. Ready for all the new stuff in my mind. 
Zal het genoeg zijn? De hout-jongens brachten een enorme berg hout, 3 kuub. Het is niet genoeg, ik weet het. Onze zeer grote houtkachel vreet bergen van deze stukjes. Het is oké. Ik hou er zo van om bij het vuur te zitten en in de vlammen te kijken. Het maakt mijn hoofd leeg. Klaar om weer gevuld te worden met nieuwe dingen.

 

This winter I will have a lot to think over. All kinds of new plans and new directions in my life. Very exciting! Meanwhile I'm felting as much as possible next to all these matters and my workshops. I'm puzzling and trying new ways in my felt. I'm getting often very impatient because of the time-consuming techniques. I have to pause regularly because of my impatience. And it crossed my mind often to stop with this sh...But every time when I come back in my studio and look at my work I think 'it's okay, just go on...'. So I go on and have to be patience. All the new ideas in my head will have to wait. I'm sorry that I cannot show pictures at this moment. You will have to wait till I'm satisfied with the results...Just be as patience as I...:)   

Komende winter zal ik veel te overdenken hebben. Veel nieuwe plannen en richtingen in mijn leven. Héél spannend! Ondertussen ben ik zo veel mogelijk aan het vilten tussen het plannen maken en de workshops door. Ik ben aan het puzzelen en uitproberen, probeer nieuwe viltmanieren uit. Ik word nogal eens erg ongeduldig door de tijdrovende technieken. Ik moet regelmatig even stoppen omdat ik er kriegelig van word. Vaak dacht ik erover om het maar in een hoek te gooien...Maar elke keer als ik terugkom in mijn atelier en naar mijn werk kijk denk ik: 'oké, het is goed. Gewoon volhouden...' Dus ga ik door en moet ik mijn ongeduld bedwingen. Alle nieuwe ideeën in mijn hoofd zullen even moeten wachten. Het spijt me dat ik geen foto's kan laten zien op dit moment. Je zult moeten wachten tot ik tevreden ben met de resultaten. Gewoon even geduld hebben...:)

Meanwhile it is cold and rainy outside. Though this beautiful spot on the border of my land is always attractive. Even in autumn, even in misty weather. I love the water plants, called reed I guess...?

Ondertussen is het koud en regenachtig buiten. Maar dit schitterende plekje aan de rand van mijn landje is altijd bijzonder mooi. Zelfs tijdens mistige herfstdagen. Ik hou van het riet aan de rand van de sloot! Schitterend.

Empty nest is a fact

The birthday garlands are still hanging in the house. No time yet to clear them away...Last friday our youngest reached the age of 18. 

And...the following 2 days we were busy cleaning and painting the new studio of our 2 sons (19 and 18 years) and remove their stuff from Baard to Groningen where they are both  studying at the Hanzehogeschool. 

It's a real big step for them and I'm very proud of my sons. They enjoy their new study and their new place to live só much! I'm very lucky when I notice that.

But...at home it is very quiet and empty. 

I have to go felting soon before my eyes will give away my feelings...

De verjaardagsslingers hangen nog in huis, ik heb nog geen tijd gehad ze weg te halen. (Eigenlijk vind ik het altijd wel zo gezellig en laat ze minstens nog 1 week hangen).

Afgelopen vrijdag werd onze jongste 18 jaar.

De volgende 2 dagen zijn we druk bezig geweest met schoonmaken en verven en het verhuizen van de spullen van onze 2 zoons (18 en 19 jaar oud) van Baard naar Groningen, waar ze beide studeren aan de Hanzehogeschool.

Het is een grote stap voor ze en ik ben erg trots op ze. Ze vinden hun nieuwe studie erg leuk en interessant en ze vinden het heerlijk om op zichzelf te gaan wonen. Een genot om te zien!

Maar...thuis is het erg stil en leeg.

Ik moet maar snel en veel gaan vilten, voor mijn ogen boekdelen gaan spreken...

ENG: How to participate:

1. Email truusjeh@xs4all to receive the flyer and registration form and workshop schedule.

2. Sign up by filling and emailing the registration form + 1st payment à € 395,- (Registration and 1st payment has to be done before subscribing for workshops).

3.  Subscribing for workshops will be possible from October 1st 2012, 00h01. You sign up for 2 workshops, let us know for both workshops your 1st and 2nd choice.

4. As soon as possible you will receive your personal schedule of your workshops. Depending on the interest we make the schedule. First signed up, first signed in. If a workshop is fully booked you get your 2nd choice.

After you have got our email concerning your personal workshops schedule you will have 2 weeks time to think it over. If desired withdraw with deposit refund possible within these 2 weeks. After this period of 2 weeks schedule will be final.

5. Payment 2nd term before February 1st 2013

Feltfull is a full week experience with 5 very special and marvellous felt teachers, activities and excursion.

NL: Procedure deelname aan FELTFULL:

1. Email truusjeh@xs4all om de flyer en het registratieformulier met workshopschema te ontvangen.

2. Registreer je d.m.v. het invullen en emailen van het registratieformulier EN de aanbetaling à € 395,- over te maken. (Je moet geregistreerd zijn en de aanbetaling hebben betaald vóór je je kunt opgeven voor de workshops)

3.  Inschrijven voor workshops is mogelijk m.i.v. 1 Oktober 2012, 00:01 u. Je schrijft je in voor 2 workshops, per workshop geef je je1e en 2e keus aan.

4. Je ontvangt het persoonlijke schema van je workshops zo snel mogelijk. Afhankelijk van de interesse stellen wij het workshopschema samen. Wie het eerst inschrijft heeft de eerste keus. Als een workshop is volgeboekt kom je in de workshop van je 2e keus.

Nadat je van ons je persoonlijke workshopschema per email hebt ontvangen heb je 2 weken de tijd om er wel/niet mee akkoord te gaan. Indien gewenst kunnen we je registratie cancelen en je aanbetaling terug storten. Na de periode van 2 weken is je workshopschema definitief.

5. Betaling van de 2e termijn voor 1 Februari 2013.

Feltfull is een ‘ full week experience’ met 5 zeer speciale vilt docenten met hun eigen stijl, activiteiten en excursie.

1. Schicken Sie eine E-Mail an truusjeh@xs4all um den Flyer und das Workshop-Schema zu empfangen.

2. Um sich zu registrieren füllen Sie das Anmeldungsformular aus, verschicken es als E-Mail und überweisen die Anzahlung à € 395 (sobald Sie sich angemeldet haben und die Anzahlung überwiesen haben können Sie sich anmelden für die Workshops).

3. Ab 1. Oktober 2012 00.01 können Sie sich anmelden für die Workshops. Sie melden sich an für zwei Workshops und teilen per Workshop Ihre erste und zweite Wahl mit.

4. Sie empfangen Ihr persönliches Workshop-Schema so schnell wie möglich. Je nach Interesse stellen wir das Workshop-Schema auf. Insofern ein Workshop ausgebucht ist nehmen Sie am Workshop Ihrer zweiten Wahl teil.

Nach Empfang Ihres persönlichen Workshop-Schemas per E-Mail haben Sie zwei Wochen die Möglichkeit um einzustimmen oder nicht. Auf Wunsch können wir die Anmeldung rückgängig machen und Ihre Anzahlung zurückbuchen. Nach zwei Wochen ist Ihr Workshop-Schema definitiv.
